OFF TO UNKNOWN SHORES
After being around in underground metal music business for almost 24 years by now, I’m finally ready to venture on new paths with NIGHTSIDE AUDIO. So, what is it that old Alboin is starting in the late summer of his life? With NIGHTSIDE AUDIO, I offer music production services mainly for black and other extreme metal bands/projects/musicians. This includes recording, mixing and mastering – all the professional way, with professional gear and professional, reliable attitude – but not only.
FLAIR OF THE PAST, TOOLS OF THE PRESENT
Being a musician myself, I know how important it is to develop your specific sound. If you decide to work with me, I’ll not only work off a job but also gladly share my ideas to fully exploit your potential and to make your music sound as much like you want it as possible. I have no interest in giving you a lame off-the-rack production and establish my trademark sound instead of yours. Please notice: When it comes to black metal, I’m a child of the 90s. So, you’ll probably get the flair of the past forged with the tools of the present. If you’re looking for plastic sounds, I’m probably not your man.
LOOKING BACK, LOOKING AHEAD
In retrospective, I have been involved in music production for quite some time already – but rarely officially. Things started in dull rehearsal rooms, moved to emptied living rooms and recently led to a small recording studio in Western Germany. Over the course of the coming weeks and months, I’ll share some memories from 15 years of producing music with you before presenting some of my recent work. Stay tuned, there are some really exceptional bands in the pipeline!
